We have a large number of books which are owned by Gleadless Library instead of the council, we call these our white sticker books. Many of these have been donated by the public.
If we already have a copy of your donated books in stock we can then add it to our 'For Sale' section to raise funds for the library.
Any books which we can not add to our stock or for sale we can send for recycling which also raises funds for the library.
Gleadless library is run by volunteers, and we are on the look out for more people to help us out. If you feel you can help us in any way then please get in touch with us through our contact page or just pop into the library and we can discuss this with you.
This is one of the best ways you can support us.
Without our members then there would be no need for the library.
